Pertaining to the Federal Tax Credits for Consumer Energy Efficiency
Solar Electric Online certifies the solar electric solar package and solar panels are designed primarily for battery charging and eligible to qualify for the Federal Tax Credit for existing homes under the Federal Tax Credits for Consumer Energy Efficiency of 2010. This certification relates to the credit for Solar Panels (Photovoltaic Systems) whereby photovoltaic systems must provide electricity for the residence, and must meet applicable fire and electrical code requirements.
Tax credits are available at 30% of the cost with no upper limit currently through 2016 (for existing homes and new construction). Photovoltaic systems must provide electricity for the residence, and must meet applicable fire and electrical code requirements.
